A Jackie Kennedy holiday: an unforgettable experience

Jackie Kennedy, whose maiden name was Jacqueline Bouvier, was born on 28 July 1929 in Southampton, north-east of New York. Born into a well-to-do family of French origin on her father's side, Jackie had a particular passion for Europe, which she had the opportunity to discover on several trips during her studies.
This passion led her, at the age of twenty, to move to France to pursue her studies. She arrived in France in 1949, she first studied in Grenoble before moving on to the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris.
During this period, she stayed for a year with a penniless countess, who owned a magnificent flat in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Jackie would later describe her years of study in France as the best years of her life, filled with cultural discoveries and unforgettable experiences.
